For a moment it looked like the fill-in Grizzlies, including new 10-day contract forward Matthew Hurt from the Memphis Hustle, would get a win for Memphis despite a historic slew of injuries. The party didn't last all night unfortunately as the Sacramento Kings used a double-double night from Domantas Sabonis (20 points/26 rebounds) to pull away from the Grizzlies. Final: Sacramento Kings 103 Memphis Grizzlies 94
It was a pretty entertaining night considering the earlier injury report from the Memphis Grizzlies:
Matthew Hurt from the Memphis Hustle, called up earlier Monday for the 10-day appointment with the Grizzlies, came off the bench to score 10 points including two 3-pointers in 23 minutes. Six of the eight Grizzlies who played scored in double figures including Scottie Pippen Jr. with 12 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. GG Jackson came off the bench for Memphis to score 12 points in 30 minutes of action. Jaren Jackson led Memphis with 22 points on the night, including the big-man move of the night here:
