The Memphis Grizzlies core-3 of Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson and Desmond Bane did their part, as did bench pieces Santi Aldama and Luke Kennard, with Memphis picking up a win against the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 106 to 98 Tuesday night at FedExForum. It's the first of a couple of back-to-back games in which the Grizzlies will be favored. The next coming Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. on 92.9 FM ESPN against the Toronto Raptors and former Grizzlies assistant coach Darko Rajakovic.

Ja Morant finished with a double-double including 26 points and 10 assists. Desmond Bane also scored 24 points but in the postgame interview credited the Grizzlies discipline and defense.
Memphis' bench power helped along the way with Santi Aldama's double-double 13 points and 11 rebounds. Luke Kennard had 12 points in 21 minutes including his 3 of 7 shooting from the 3-point arc.
