🏀 Grizzlies Drop 120-114 Decision at Lakers

The Memphis Grizzlies fought hard on Sunday night in Los Angeles but ultimately came up short in a 120–114 loss to the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. Despite leading deep into the second half, Memphis couldn’t hold off a late surge by LA, falling for their fourth straight defeat.

The Grizzlies built early momentum behind strong contributors on both ends. Jaylen Wells led Memphis with 23 points, while Cedric Coward added 16 before exiting with an ankle issue, and Jaren Jackson Jr. (14), Jock Landale (13, 10 rebounds) and Santi Aldama (12, 10, 7) provided balanced scoring and effort off the bench.

Memphis held an advantage through three quarters, even leading by as many as 16 points in the first half and up late in the third. But a 14-4 Lakers run in the fourth, sparked by Luka Dončić, flipped the script. Dončić nearly had a triple-double with 36 points, nine boards and eight assists, and LeBron James (26 points, 10 assists) paced Los Angeles in the comeback.

🟡 Final Score: Lakers 120, Grizzlies 114
