The Memphis Grizzlies came up just short of a Summer League championship, falling 94-90 to the Golden State Warriors in Monday's title game in Las Vegas. Memphis led going in the fourth quarter, but Golden State closed the game on a decisive run to capture the championship.

Cam Boozer paced the Grizzlies with 19 points, continuing his impressive Summer League run, while Cedric Coward added another 19 points along with his six rebounds.

The Grizzlies struggled down the stretch as the Warriors' defense forced key misses in the closing minutes. Golden State was led by championship game MVP Yaxel Lendeborg, who finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Memphis closes Summer League with an impressive runner-up finish after reaching the championship game with wins over Houston and Atlanta, giving the organization plenty of optimism heading into training camp.
