The Memphis Grizzlies kicked off their 2023-24 preseason campaign with a little bit of everything as they hosted the Indiana Pacers. First, you had the starting lineup minus Ja Morant. Instead, you had Derrick Rose now part of the team starting out of "The University of Memphis".
The Grizzlies used their youth and fire power in the paint to get the game to overtime. Memphis scored the last five points of the game in OT including Jake LaRavia providing and and-one dunk with 5.3 seconds as the final dagger.
