The Memphis Tigers men's basketball offseason continues to shift as center Aaron Bradshaw has entered the NCAA transfer portal, adding another major storyline to an already active spring for Penny Hardaway’s program. With the portal window closing fast (midnight), players must declare by April 21 to retain eligibility for next season, the timing underscores just how fluid roster construction has become in today’s college basketball landscape.

GABE KUHN SHOW AUDIO ON BREAKING NEWS ON AARON BRADSHAW:

Bradshaw, a highly touted big man with size and upside in the paint, now becomes one of the more intriguing available frontcourt pieces on the market. His decision creates a significant question mark for Memphis’ interior presence moving forward, especially as the Tigers lean heavily on the portal to reshape their roster each offseason.

For Memphis, it’s both a loss of potential and another reminder of the volatility of modern college hoops, where even cornerstone players can quickly become portal targets. For Bradshaw, it opens the door to a fresh start and a chance to find the right system to maximize his impact at the next stop.

Bradshaw showed flashes of his five-star upside in 2025–26, averaging 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting better than 53% from the field in 29 appearances.
