LA ROMANA, DR. – The short-handed Memphis Tigers ended its summer tour Sunday evening with an 85-63 victory over the Dominican Republic U22 All-Stars inside the Eleoncio Mercedes. Jordan Brown had his best game of the week, dropping 23 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes of play. The big man went 9-of-11 from the floor and also added a couple assists. 

JJ Taylor also had a monster game with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting in 21 minutes. Ashton Hardaway poured in 13 points, nine boards and four dimes in 19 minutes off the bench to give Memphis three players in double figures.  

Fellow freshman Carl Cherenfant added nine points, while Nick Jourdain nearly hauled in a double-double behind eight points and nine rebounds. Jonathan Pierre paced the squad with seven assists, and Noah Stansbury added six in 16 minutes. 

Memphis shot 52.3 percent overall (34-65) and drained eight three-pointers. The Tigers won the rebounding battle 47-35 and dished 27 assists to 16 turnovers.
