The Memphis Tigers Football continued to build momentum this offseason as head coach Charles Huff secured a major addition at quarterback with the signing of Marcus Stokes out of the transfer portal.

Jason & John discuss it during Hour 1 of the J&J Show:

Marcus Stokes' landed at D-II West Florida after a 2022 incident where the former four-star quarterback recruit posted a video on social media of himself in his car rapping along to a song and using a racial slur.

Stokes arrives from West Florida after a productive stint where he showed poise, arm talent, and the ability to extend plays. His experience running a balanced offense and protecting the football makes him an intriguing fit for a Memphis system that values efficiency and explosiveness at the position.
