DALLAS (AP) — Kendric Davis scored 27 points, Marcus Weathers added 20 points and seven rebounds, and SMU won its 13th straight home game, topping Memphis 73-57 on Sunday.
Franklin Agunanne had seven rebounds for SMU (19-6, 10-3 American Athletic Conference). Michael Weathers added six points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.

Lester Quinones had 13 points for the Tigers (15-9, 9-5), whose six-game winning streak was snapped. Landers Nolley II added 12 points. Jalen Duren had 11 points and four blocks.
The Mustangs improve to 2-0 against the Tigers this season. SMU defeated Memphis 70-62 on Jan. 20.

Second-Half Run Hampers Tigers in 73-57 Loss at RV/RV SMU
DALLAS – Down five points at the half, the Memphis Tigers tied the game at 41 at the start of the second half, but RV/RV SMU then went on a 10-minute scoring run that powered the Mustangs to a 73-57 win Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
The loss snapped Memphis’ (15-9, 9-5 American Athletic Conference) six-game winning streak. The Tigers have won nine of their last 13 games. SMU (19-6, 10-3 AAC) has won 15-straight games at Moody Coliseum, which is the 10th-longest active streak in the nation.
Lester Quinones led the Tigers with 13 points, and he hit three 3-pointers.
Landers Nolley II added 12 points, and Jalen Duren had 11. DeAndre Williams led Memphis with seven rebounds and three steals, and Chandler Lawson grabbed six rebounds in 13 minutes off the bench.
The Tigers rattled off eight-straight points and opened up a 32-25 lead with 3:40 to play in the first half, but after that SMU scored the final 12 points of the half to lead 37-32 at the break.
The game was tied at 41 after a 5-0 Memphis scoring run, but SMU then scored 27 of the next 30 points to take a 68-44 advantage.
Memphis had 18 assists on its 25 field goals.
Kendric Davis, the AAC’s leading scorer, led all players with 27 points.
Marcus Weathers added 20.

The Tigers return to FedExForum to face Temple on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Wichita State next Sunday at 1:30 p.m. After that, the regular season finishes at South Florida on March 3 and at home against Houston on March 6.
