If you see a guy in a hot dog costume roaming the streets of Austin this February, it’s probably me.

Am I thrilled about it? Not really! But rules are rules. For the past four Thanksgivings, I’ve competed with three of my friends in a winner-take-all FanDuel contest, with last place subject to a punishment of the group’s choosing. Last year, the loser had to parade around a busy intersection wearing a donkey mask for two hours. This year, in appreciation of Tim Robinson’s iconic hot dog sketch from I Think You Should Leave (“We’re all trying to find the guy who did this!”), yours truly will be donning a frankfurter costume out to the bars in Austin this winter.

Thanks a bunch, D’Andre Swift (a shoulder injury limited him to 10 snaps). You too, Tony Jones Jr. Those 2.7 fantasy points really moved the needle for me. I’m sure touring Rainey Street dressed like a Ball Park Frank will be sufficiently humiliating, but I’d take that over my punishment two years ago, the “One Chip Challenge” (or as I call it, four Imodium and a half roll of Charmin), any day of the week.

And you know what frustrates me the most? My other FanDuel lineup CRUSHED. We’re talking scorched earth. Josh Allen, Tony Pollard and Darnell Mooney all went nuts. Naturally, I didn’t play a single one of them in the contest that actually mattered.

I joined Jordan Cohn and Chris Emma—albeit with less dignity than I had a week ago—to talk Alexander Mattison’s newfound opportunity in the Vikings’ backfield, Odell Beckham’s return to relevance and more on a new episode of the Audacy Sports Fantasy Football Show. There’s plenty at stake with two games left in the fantasy regular season, so let’s make this week count.
