As of now, Jerry Jones is operating under the impression that Sam Williams will be available Monday for the Dallas Cowboys.

The rookie defensive end had a misdemeanor arrest warrant issued for reckless driving this week. Williams had been in an accident on Dec. 22 in Plano, Texas, and missed a game as a result of a concussion and neck strain he sustained from it.

It’s not fully clear what role Williams played in the accident. A police spokesperson told TMZ that there was not a plan to find and arrest Williams, but that he was contacted to turn himself in and could be arrested if he’s stopped by police before turning himself in.

Asked Friday on “The K&C Masterpiece” if there could be internal discipline for Williams, Jerry Jones said that’s not currently on the table.

“Not as I sit here today," Jones said. "As I see it today, nothing at all will do that as far as his availability is concerned.”

The Cowboys will play the Bucs in Tampa on Monday night. It seems we can count on the game plan including the rookie.
