Axios is reporting that the XFL and the USFL, which includes the Memphis Showboats, are working to combine operations/leagues.
Both leagues have some ties to Memphis with the previous incarnation of the XFL happening over 20 years ago, including the Memphis Maniax. Last season the Memphis Showboats were part of the USFL's most recent Spring Football incarnation, playing at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
