ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - For the second time this week, free agent catcher and beloved face of the St. Louis Cardinals franchise for the last decade, Yadier Molina, has shared a photo on Instagram that has baseball fans buzzing.

Molina has created plenty of storylines via his IG account including his announcement that he tested positive for COVID-19 last year. His post on Thursday morning has some thinking it might be over for him in a Cardinals uniform, but others say it means both he and free-agent pitcher Adam Wainwright are coming back.

The text reads "Hermanos!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻," which means "Brothers" in Spanish. And it was sent with a black and white photo of he and Wainwright.

He sent this while some people are still trying to figure out what his post on Monday means. That day, he posted a smiling selfie that said "It's time to ... 🤔! Thank you God! 🙏🏻"

Here's some of the reactions to the latest post of the Cardinals legendary duo:

manimal14: Can we not do this today? Crying at my desk. Thanks
hammer_hockey_88: What does this mean, stay Cardinals, or retire as Cardinals
akingdvm: I wish I could put into words what seeing you two together does to a lifelong Cards fan like myself. Just the absolute best ♥️

We can try to guess the meaning, but here are the facts:

- The Cardinals are trying to cut payroll after a 2020 season of no ticket revenue due to the pandemic.
- The team has made offers to both players, according to chairman Bill DeWitt Jr.
- President of baseball operations John Mozeliak says they aren't giving up on the duo, "I’m very hopeful that we find a way to do something here in the near term."
- Both Molina and Wainwright have had interest from other teams. There are plenty of reports about who, but there's no way of knowing if those offers still stand or have changed since they were reported.

Spring Training is less than a month away, so watch your Twitter and Instagram feeds closely.
