After another poor outing on Saturday, in a game the Braves eventually came back to win, the team announced they would be sending Mike Foltynewicz to AAA Gwinnett.

Jon Chuckery and Hugh Douglas discuss if sending Folty down was the correct move at this time.
"You give him that leeway because you believe in him, and it is mental and he can work his way out," Says Hugh. "Folty got a lot of rope the last two weeks and when you believe in a guy sometimes you get clouded by that belief"
Jon Chuckery also wonders how much pressure the Braves top pitching prospects have put on Folty.

— Prospects 365 ⚾️ (@Prospects365) June 23, 2019"I'm tired of hearing he's gotta get his head right. That stuff aint working. He either forgot how to pitch or something ain't right," states Chuckery. "If he's not right physically or mentally, he's not going to say that with all these young guys ready to come up"
Hugh Douglas thinks Folty also felt the expectations to be the leader of the rotation and that played a role as well.
"You might not be right, but at the same time you don't want to let anybody down."
