Atlanta United defender Mikey Ambrose joined John and Hugh to talk about the latest with The 5 Stripes.
Ambrose on dealing with a new manager in Frank De Boer, “It’s been tough. New players, new style, new formation. I think that we will turn things around and get it going in the right direction moving forward.”
Ambrose on if the team will settle into a regular starting 11 soon, “It’s such a long season and a lot of teams start off with a few hiccups but I think we will start to build a foundation.”
Ambrose stressed that there are 34 games in the regular season and that there is plenty of time to turn things around.
Ambrose on the team having a target on the back, “When you are the champion you know that teams are coming for you.”
Ambrose then joked about his March Madness bracket being busted because he had Maryland and Louisville going far.
