It's still early in Atlanta Braves spring training, and he only has two games under his belt, but Felix Hernandez may have already locked up the final spot in the rotation.
In his first game in a Braves uniform, the 33-year-old right hander struck out two and walked one in his two innings of work against the Baltimore Orioles.
His second game of spring training started off rocky but ended on a high note. The six-time All-Star allowed three hits, one earned run and four strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings of work.
"I've been pleasantly surprised with what I've seen," AJC Braves beat writer Gabe Burns told Andy and Randy of the Midday Show. "The people who actually matter have been pleasantly surprised from what they've seen.
