The Atlanta Braves lost Game 1 of the NLDS to the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 7-6. But midway through the game, they held a 3-1 lead.
"I think Snit probably got a little cute and wanted to play matchups a little bit," says Hugh Douglas. "We talked about 7-8-9 and they got comfortable in those roles and when you put guys in a different situation it threw things off."
