Opening day is just a week away and with the Braves going into the season set to rely on their young arms it wasn’t an ideal time for Kyle Wright to have his worst outing of the spring as he gave up six runs on four hits, two walks including two home runs in only 2/3rds of an inning.
Mike talked about Kyle Wright’s struggles today, and what it could mean for a five man rotation.
“Kyle Wright got shellacked today in his outing, before this outing he had been money.” Bell said “The good news is the way the schedule works out they don’t have to go with a five man rotation.”
Randy said that once again the young pitching hasn’t been consistent.
“Again the point of inconsistency sets in with these young pitchers.” McMichael said “every time they’re doing good there is always a setback.”
