John Fricke and Hugh Douglas talked about realistic expectations for the 2019 season. Douglas on his expectations for this team, “I expect the Braves to win the division.”
Fricke said this team’s success will depend a lot on the young arms this year, specifically Kyle Wright and Bryse Wilson out of the gate.
Fricke went on to say that the biggest addition for the Braves this off-season outside of Josh Donaldson is pitching coach Rick Kranitz who was the pitching coach for the Philadelphia Phillies last year.
Both Fricke and Douglas talked about how important the young core will be in 2019 and for years to come.
