How does getting this deal done early in Acuña's career change your perception of Liberty Media Group (owner of the Braves), if at all? The criticisms of the company has been that they're detached, not as emotionally invested in the team as we, as Braves fans, think they should be and that they are all about the bottom line.

For Andy Bunker, his perception will change depending on what Liberty Media does with the extra money saved in Acuña's deal.

"I'm not mad at Liberty Media for being thrifty," Andy Bunker said. "The unknown is will you eventually spend the money that you saved here to put people around Acuña."

While co-host Bryant McFadden is happy that Liberty Media got this deal done early, he's not ready to change his opinion.

"I still believe they're  conservative," McFadden said. "This (deal) was so easy for them to do, and they had the means to do so. If they want to change my mindset as far as them being conservative, as far as being a bit cheap--you just locked up a generational player in Acuña--now, go spend more money on a guy like (Dallas) Keuchel or Craig (Kimbrel)."
