Dan Mullen spoke on Thursday and took some time to address UGA announcing a home-and-home series with Florida State.
Gators coach Dan Mullen takes a mild shot at Georgia for scheduling FSU, saying "We play FSU (every year). Everyone is trying to catch up to us."

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas address the comments. Hugh doesn't see the comment as a shot at UGA and somewhat agrees with Mullen's premise, but also sees Georgia's program as ahead of Florida's right now.
"Georgia has to strengthen up their schedule because they've been getting a little razz abut the fact they haven't been playing a tough schedule, but last time I looked at it, didn't Georgia win the Georgia-Florida game?"
John Fricke questions Mullen and the Gators upcoming opponents, "what's Florida's non-conference schedule this year," Fricke asks. "They're playing Miami and Florida State. They're also playing Northern Colorado and Tennessee-Martin. Georgia is playing Notre Dame and Georgia Tech. Call that a wash."
Fricke continues to rail on Florida's scheduling.
"When was the last time Florida went out of state to like Oklahoma or Texas, in to hostile territory. I'm going to say it's been 30 years. They never leave the state for a big game out-of-conference"

— Pick Six Previews (@PickSixPreviews) December 9, 2017Fricke closes his argument in defense of Georgia by looking at their recent and future schedules, "At least Georgia travels. They went to Notre Dame last year. Going to UCLA and playing in the Rose Bowl (in 2025), Florida can't be taking shots at anybody else."
