Robb Tribble and Harper Le Bel caught up with former Atlanta Falcons linebacker, Buddy Curry.

Robb asked: "January 4, 1981, what were you doing?" Curry talked about his experince playing in the Divisional Round of the playoffs after the 1980 season and how that playoff loss was much different than the way Atlanta lost the Super Bowl in 2016.  The Falcons led by 10 points with 6:37 to play. The Dallas Cowboys not only scored 20 points in the fourth quarter, but also scored the final two touchdowns, the latter  with only 42 seconds on the clock.

"The Super Bowl a couple of years ago was more of a long, drawn-out process," Curry stated. "This was eight and a half minutes and it was more of a blitzkreig in how they took us down."

Curry described how the game went and what kind of Falcons team they were. He also commented on how different coaching and play-calling was during the game and what he would have done differently during the game.

He described how he felt as a rookie going into the game and wanting to play for his teammates. Curry explained why he thinks the team went on a decline after playing in the playoffs the year before.

Curry also spoke about being under the leadership of Jerry Glanville, defensively. He said Glanville took advantage of what he had on the team and how they were like "beasts or a pack of dogs" making other teams not want to play them.

Curry mentioned the organization he is a part of called 'Kids and Pros' that coaches kids and invest in their lives beyond sports.
