The former Cy Young winner has shown exactly why the Braves went out and signed him.

"This is a guy that is like the Ginsu knife of Major League pitchers," FOX Sports South Braves broadcaster Chip Caray said.

"I mean, he just carves people up with movement, with location, uses all four quadrants of the strike-zone, changes speeds, really keeps hitters off balance...but he knows what he's doing out there. He reminds me of watching Tom Glavine pitch."

Caray said that while Keuchel is obviously not a Hall of Famer yet, like Glavine, he's showing he could be.

"Watching guys pitch instead of just heaving back and throwing is so refreshing in today's game."
