Andruw, Chipper, Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux: all names synonymous with the Atlanta Braves historic run of fourteen straight division championships. But that run that will never be duplicated would not have been able to happen withouit this name: BOBBY.

Bobby Cox's 2,504 career wins is good for fourth all-time for the Hall Of Fame manager, but when you ask fellow players and coaches that isn't even the stat that most adorns Bobby Cox, it's his Major League Baseball record 161 ejections. This spoke to the type of manager that Bobby Cox was, and his players loved it. He coached them but let them play their game and ALWAYS stood up for them. He also cared very deeply about his players, so much even that he had nicknames for all of them.

Bobby was hospitilized this week with an apparent stroke, and as Bobby recovers in a local Atlanta hospital, Greg Clarkson and Lewis Preston reflect on the career of Bobby Cox and what made him everyones "skipper".
