Atlanta Braves starter Mike Soroka is arguably one of the aces in their starting rotation up to this point. He's allowed one or no runs in each of his seven starts this season.

Hall of Fame pitcher and MLB on FOX game analyst John Smoltz said Soroka, who's only 21-years-old, is the next Greg Maddux.

Soroka's ERA rose from .098 to 1.01 after giving up one run against the San Francisco Giants on Monday. But what he's been able to do through seven starts has been phenomenal.

"There may be a little concern with how with 'how do we keep him healthy,'" Smoltz continued. "The front shoulder, to me, is a very important part to the actual throwing shoulder because if that doesn't work in unison, you put a lot of pressure on that shoulder.

"But I love watching him pitch. His changeup is fantastic. His movement is unique, and his windup is unique."
