UGA Coaching legend Vince Dooley joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the start of the season, Jake Fromm and more.

Dooley talked about being excited for the field dedication on Saturday.

“I’m excited for a lot of reasons.” Dooley said “I think primarily because of the team, they’re the ones that made this happen, and I think they feel a great deal of pride as I feel a great deal of pride. There are so many great fans of bulldawg nation and are as excited as ever because of the potential of this team.”

When asked about the performance by the Dawgs Saturday in Nashville.

“Scored the first three touchdowns and I think that woke Vandy up a little bit.” Dooley said “They played great defense from there on out and made it a tougher game, I think this will be a special year, somebody said 75% of the fans in Nashville were from Georgia.”

Coach talked about the type of player Jake Fromm is.

“With that offensive line I think we’re going to be a ground team and that’s the way it ought to be.” Dooley said “He can throw the ball, he’s a clutch player, he’s the leader and he has proven that and he’s off to another great year."
