The Atlanta Falcons have beat the deadline of 4 p.m. ET to get Grady Jarrett under a long-term deal so the defensive tackle doesn’t have to play under the franchise tag this season. Dukes & Bell talked about what they think this means for the team moving forward, and what does this mean for other young players?
Mike talked about the guaranteed money in the deal.
“The first thing that stood out to me was it’s a four-year deal,” Bell said. “$42.5 million of this is guaranteed according to Ian Rapoport. Debo or Julio should be next to get paid. This contract makes sense. He’s not Aaron Donald, but he’s the next tier, so this deal make sense for everybody.”
