Falcons beat writer Jason Butt joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the team’s options in the upcoming draft including if it makes more sense to trade back.

Butt said he thinks trading back in an intriguing option for the Falcons.

“Trading back is very intriguing, if they don’t get an edge rusher in free agency who they can count on or believe in, those two guys in K’Lvaon Chaisson and Aj Epenesa they do some things well but they also have some flaws in their game.” Butt said “I just don’t think you can count on either of those guys as a rookie if you’re coach if you’re in a make or break season, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you trade back and try to acquire as many picks and get as lucky as possible with some of those picks.”
