Atlanta Braves Legend Dale Murphy joined Dukes & Bell to talk about our Braves upcoming series with the Nationals and do things change in September?
Murph talked about staying consistent in the final month of the season.
“The main thing is you can’t do things differently in September.” Murphy said “You can’t go into a panic mode if you have a few bad games, you just have to maintain and be yourself, I would handle things like we’ve always done them, stay the course.”
Dale told the guys that all the pressure is on the Nationals right now.
“Imagine being the Nationals, as well as they’ve played nothing has changed.” Murphy said “That’s beyond frustrating and realizing you basically have to sweep a team, you haven’t gotten any help from anyone else. No question there’s a lot of pressure on them, coming in here they cannot make mistakes, I’ve very confident in this ball club (Braves).”
