Atlanta elected to go with 16 pitchers & 14 position players, a nod to the new world order in the National League with the universal DH.

Newly-acquired first baseman Matt Adams, RHP Touki Touissant (recently activated from the COVID IL), RHP Jhoulys Chacin (signed Wednesday), and non-roster invitee Tyler Matzek are among the players who made the final cut to break camp with the Braves.

The team will start Mike Soroka, Max Fried and Sean Newcomb in New York, while Mike Foltyniewicz & Kyle Wright will follow for the two games in Tampa. Soroka would start the Braves home opener provided the schedule plays out accordingly and the rotation stays on turn.
