UGA is stuck in the middle when it comes to the national perspective.
Some feel they are in a group with Clemson and Alabama and others feel they are closer to a group of teams that include LSU, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
With Kirby Smart's team hosting a top 10 Notre Dame team tonight, theres a chance for Georgia to better shape those opinions.
Former UGA Tight End Jermaine Wiggins feels tonight is a statement game for UGA.
"I think they have to make this a statement game. The one thing is those games they play and stub their toe, last year it was the LSU game," says Wiggins. "So when you look at this game, Notre Dame is a good team, but show the world, dominate this game, and show the rest of the country Georgia should be in the same breath as Alabama and Clemson."
