After the Atlanta Braves got swept by the Philadelphia Phillies, John Fricke and Hugh Douglas started looking for answers and solutions. Fricke thinks Brian Snitker should already seriously consider a lineup change.
"If you were the manager of the Braves, what would you do tonight against the Cubs," Fricke asked. "My batting order would start with Ronald Acuña Jr."
Hugh Douglas feels the manager needs to be a little more patient still.
"That would only say you didn't have that much faith in your leadoff hitter in the first place," reasoned Hugh. "Once you make that move you can't go back. You gotta give these players a real chance to fail. (Depending on) the outcome of this series, I would seriously start thinking about making some changes."
Fricke continues to push for a change at the top and can't understand why the season didn't start that way.
Ronald Acuña Jr. (2018) at different spots in @braves batting order:1st: 301 PA, .328/.409/.634, 19 HR, 45 RBI2nd: 116 PA, .238/.302/.400, 4 HR, 10 RBI6th: 44 PA, .302/.318/.605, 3 HR, 8 RBIAcuña also spread 8 plate appearances between hitting 5th, 7th & 9th in the order.
