Thursday evening while watching the NCAA Tournament, Skip Bayless noted on Twitter how impressive Ja Morant was and how he liked his NBA potential. He also took a completely unnecessary shot at Hawks rookie Trae Young.
Ja Morant will make a very good NBA PG/leader. Rare basketball maturity. No flair, no "me," no Trae Young. Doesn't show off leaping ability. Plays patiently. Passes conventionally. So good with his left hand you start thinking he's lefty. Subtle quickness. Shoots when needed.

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas took exception to his comment and responded to it Friday morning.
Hugh, who knows Skip Bayless a little bit says "for Skip to make that comparison, that tells me he that honestly, you haven't watched a whole lot of Trae Young play. Skip beleives what he beleives, but he doesn't know Trae Young like we know Trae Young"
Hugh continues to defend Trae.
"I think he has flair, I don't think theres anything wrong with having flair, especially when you're talking about a team that probably is in desperate need for somebody to be a little flashy. Peopke like that. Peopke like the fact that Trae Young is dribbling between his legs and making plays. That to me says he's out there having fun, getting his teammates involved, and he's a leader."
