Josh Rosen is once again looking for a new team.

The 10th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft was waived by the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

The Niners signed Rosen late last season off the Buccaneers practice squad amid a string of injuries and re-signed him again this offseason for a chance to be the third-string quarterback.

Rosen reportedly struggled in training camp and head coach Kyle Shanahan acknowledged that the 24-year-old had “taken a few steps back” last week.

He played nearly the entire second half of Saturday’s preseason game, completing 10 of 15 pass attempts for 93 yards and an interception, the latter coming on an overthrow.

Rosen was selected by the Cardinals in the first round of the 2018 draft but the UCLA product struggled as a rookie and was eventually traded to the Miami Dolphins so the Cardinals could draft Kyler Murray with the first overall pick in 2019.

Rosen appeared in six games for the Dolphins, starting in three, but threw just one touchdown pass to five interceptions.

Should another team sign Rosen and give him a chance to earn a backup spot, it would mark his fifth team in four years for the former first-round pick.
