The Braves have a 3-2 lead in the World Series as they head back to Houston for game six and the guys on Dukes & Bell talked about what has gotten to the team to this point and why the team with the most effective bullpen will ultimately be crowned world champions.
Carl talked about the ineffectiveness of starting pitching in the series for both teams.
“Starting pitching in this particular World Series has not mattered for either team, whatever bullpen is the best in six or seven if it goes seven is going to win the series,” Dukes said. “No starter whether it’s been the Astros or our guys have been shut down, dominant seven, seven and two thirds, eight innings it’s not happened, it’s not going to.”

“That is why you don’t blow your bullpen last night and just go all in when you get a four run lead, you know that, Snit knows that and Snit just trust his guys, I do too. Guys we’re up three-two, let’s stop acting like we’ve blown this series, did it hurt to not win it at home? Yea it sucked because we all had to party and pop champagne last night but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have a shot to win this thing, we need one over the next two, it’s that simple.”
