Another game day, another switch in the batting order for Braves manager Brian Snitker, or shall it seems.
The Braves (15-18) bats continue to struggle to find run production on a consistence basis, and with Ronald Acuña Jr., still a few weeks away from returning to everyday play, Snitker has tried to find the right mix to get this team into a groove.

Cory McCartney, co-host of “From the Diamond”, joined Sam & Greg to discuss the Braves struggles this season, and Cory pointed out that “a big focus has to be what they are not getting from the guys in the heart of the order.”
The middle of the Braves line-up that Cory was referring to usually is made up of Matt Olsen, Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna.
But when looking at the currents stats, Cory was sad to share with Sam & Greg, “when you look at OPS with those three guys, they are 15th in the league.”
If the Braves intend to turn things around anytime soon, they will need the big bats to start to heat up and in a hurry
They will get their next chance later today against San Diego Padres SP Sean Manaea.
First pitch is set for 4:05 pm.
