92.9 The Game Braves insider Grant McAuley joined Dukes & Bell for his normal appearance to talk some Braves with the guys and has Charlie Morton finally regained his 2021 form?
When asked if Morton has regained his 2021 form.
“I think so and the last four starts have really been proof, as I like to say when you look at the numbers, you look at the box score and also he’s passing the eye test these days to,” McAuley said.
Grant talked about how Morton has been able to dial it back.
“It really seems like he has righted the ship, I asked Brian Snitker about this a couple of days ago, just what has he seen or what has been the difference and he said ‘really I don’t know if there’s been any difference, the ball has been coming out of his hand well all year it just seems he’s dialed it back in and got the touch and feel that he needs for it and that curveball has been racking up the strikeouts.”
