The Atlanta Braves have finally headed back to Atlanta (with a day off Thursday) after a 8-game west coast trip that saw them go 4-4 including 4 losses in the last 5 games and a 4-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night.

Throughout the season the Braves have gotten several “sparks” with young players being brought up and certain players returning from injuries including rookies Spencer Strider and Michael Harris and veteran catcher Travis d’Arnaud to name a few.

The Braves are hoping that 2nd baseman Ozzie Albies can provide the next “spark” for the team. Albies has been playing pretty well for the Braves Triple A affiliate, The Gwinett Stripers. Earlier this week Albies 5-5 and hit a walk-off homerun and in his most recent game on Wednesday he went 1-4.

Most assume that Albies will be back with the big league Braves sometime during the upcoming 6 game home stand and most likely sometime this weekend. That leads to the question, how does Ozzie Albies return impact the Braves lineup.

In the audio clip above, Andy & Randy talk about different scenarios and spots in the lineup Albies could potentially hit upon his return and they explain how that impacts where other players would hit in the lineup.

On the season Albies is hitting .244 with 8 homeruns and 22 RBI in 62 games.

You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p.
