The Atlanta Braves have come under their fair share of scrutiny this season, however if we are completely honest about how their season has shaped up to this point, manager Brian Snitker and crew may be deserving of more praise than some believe.

After all, in addition to their dreadful 0-7, Atlanta began the 2025 season without All-Stars, Ronald Acuna Jr., who is still working his way back to the lineup after suffering another ACL season ending injury, and Spencer Strider, who was placed back on the injured list after returning to the Braves’ rotation for a start back in April.

Throw in the 80-game suspension for outfielder Jurickson Profar for testing positive for a performance enhancing substance in violation of MLB’s Joint Drug and Prevention Program and pitcher, Reynaldo Lopez, suffering a shoulder injury which would eventually force his season to end to undergo surgery, with a 24-24 record and sitting third in the National League East, six and a half games back of first place Philadelphia, is a pretty impressive turnaround for the Braves

“They have gotten right back into it and I don’t think the Braves should be where they are based on all those things,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he shared with Mike Bell why he believes the Braves current status is ‘amazing’ despite the early setback and various players struggling at the plate and on the mound.

“It’s amazing to think that they found their way back into the mix, right?” Dukes says as he and Bell discussed the Braves’ turnaround after a rough start to the season.
