The Braves Now Have a Plan for the Postseason

Cole Hamels made his Braves debut on Wednesday night, and while the performance resulted in a Braves loss, it is generally regarded as a positive step forward for the Braves rotation.

Hamels return combined with Max Fried coming off the IL on Friday and Kyle Wright picking up his first career win on Sunday means the Braves rotation for the rest of the season and playoffs is seemingly set.

John and Hugh talk about the Braves being in a position they didn't think they'd find themselves in just 10 days ago and the confidence it gives them heading into the playoffs.

"I didn't think Cole Hamels was going to come back and I didn't think you'd get anything out of Kyle Wright," says John Fricke. "I didn't think we'd have a rotation coming into the playoffs. The fact that we're not making it up and we have a plan, that's better than where I was a week ago."

The Braves already have a championship caliber offense and bullpen, and if the rotation can prove worthy as well, the Braves chances in October are as good as anyone else's.
