If Max Fried can repeat 2020, sky is the limit for Braves

The Atlanta Braves look like they are pretty much set with the way their roster is currently constructed. The only news to be on the lookout for as far as their roster goes, would be if they were to try to bolster their bullpen.

With the Braves offensively looking to be the same as it was last year, the pitching rotation may have a lot more questions to answer in 2021. Mike Soroka is coming off of an Achilles injury, and he's projected to be ready by the start of the season.

It was really clear who Soroka was for this team before being injured. When he went out, Max Fried came in like a knight in shining armor. So, whether or not Soroka is ready to start the season or not, Fried is going to have to at least come close to the production he put up last season.

Jon Chuckery feels that Fried has a lot to prove in order to follow up on what he did last season. "Obviously now, the pressure is on that he's your ace," Chuckery said. Max Fried was amazing for the Braves last year.

The pressure to perform is heightened because no one knows how Soroka will pitch fresh off of injury. If Fried is able to come close to what he did in 2020, the sky could be the limit for the Braves.
