After going through the first 50 games of the season without winning 3 consecutive games, the Braves have now reeled off 6 straight victories, only the Yankees have a longer active winning streak.
So what's led to the sudden turnaround? Let's look at the 6 biggest reasons for 6 straight wins.
1. Ronald Acuña Jr. has gotten going and looks like he's regained his MVP form
2. Hitting in clutch situations. Over half of the Braves runs scored during the winning streak came with 2-outs (20 of 39 runs) and they hit .293 as a team with runners in scoring position.
3. Michael Harris has solidified the outfield defensively and that certainly helps out the pitchers. He may have saved the game last night.
4. Braves have finally figured out how to win extra-inning games. After starting the season 0-4 in extras, the Braves won back-to-back extra inning games against the Rockies.

5.Beating the teams you are supposed to. The Braves streak has spanned a trio of series (DBacks, Rockies, and Athletics) and all three of those teams are 5 or more games below .500.
6. Brian Snitker's closed door meeting/address to the team ahead of the West Coast trip.
