The Atlanta Braves (56-27, 1st NL East) are winning games and scoring runs at an historic pace as they are currently on an eight game win streak after Sunday’s completion of a perfect six-game home stand with a 6-3 come from behind victory of the Miami Marlins.

Eight members of this seasons squad have been named to the 2023 MLB All-star Game, including three starters (Acuna, Murphy, Arcia) on defense and pitchers Bryce Elder and Spencer Strider.

John Fricke has been watching and reporting on the Atlanta Braves since the lean years of late 1980s, through the magical run in the 90s and early 2000s, but he believes that the 2023 Atlanta Braves have the potential to be the best team the franchise has ever put together.

With that in mind, this past Saturday on the John Fricke Show, John posed the question, “What has been the most impressive part of the Braves first half?”

“Everybody on this team is must see TV” said Fricke emphatically as he talked about the outstanding lineup and pitching the Braves send onto the field each night for manager Brian Snitker.

Fricke continued to praise what the Braves have done in the first half of the 2023 season by going through a list of impressive stats and superlatives.

“Orlando Arcia at shortstop? The division race? Or maybe the record pace for home runs?” were several of the possibilities that John asked the listeners of 92.9 the Game to choose between as what could be the most impressive part of the Braves start to 2023.

Regardless of which option you choose; we all are amazed almost daily by what these Braves are able to do on a nightly basis.
