The Atlanta Falcons hold the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. What direction the Falcons go with the fourth pick is the big question.
One direction they could go is tight end. With a surefire top-10 pick in Florida Gators TE Kyle Pitts, why not consider him at No. 4?
New head coach Arthur Smith loves to get tight ends involved in the offense, attacking the middle of the field as he did with Derrick Henry in his time with the Tennessee Titans.
Following his tremendous Pro Day on Wednesday, Pitts confirmed via Zoom interview that the Falcons do indeed have interest in him.
“They were saying that they have interest in me," Pitts said. "After today, we’ll get on another Zoom and they’ll try to learn more about myself. I feel like they are pretty interested.”
Pitts measured in a 6-foot-5, 245 pounds, and had unofficial 40-yard dashes of 4.44 and 4.46. He also had big hops with a 10-foot-9 broad jump.
