The Atlanta Falcons selected both Jalon Walker and James Pearce in the first round of the NFL Draft with the expectations that they could come in as rookie as sack the QB and while the team has only been together for a few practices, the rookie duo has already drawn some enthusiastic feedback from one of their teammates.
"These guys come to work, they're very explosive, they come off the ball crazy, I've never seen anything like it, I'm excited to see them," proclaimed impressed Falcons LB Divine Deablo about the Falcons rookie pass rushers.
Jalon Walker had 12.5 sacks in his college career at Georgia, while James Pearce Jr. totaled 19.5 sacks in three seasons at Tennessee. James Pearce ran a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the fastest among all defensive lineman and Walker is reported to run 4.50 in the same distance, so the speed an explosion shouldn't be too surprised for Falcons fans hoping the duo pays immediate dividends.
