Falcons new offense can’t cater to both Tua Tagovailoa & Michael Penix Jr.

Kevin Stefanski joins The Morning Shift LIVE

While Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Kevin Stefanski and Falcons Offensive Coordinator Tommy Rees already have a good idea of what they want the Atlanta Falcons offense to look like there is still a question of who’s going to be the starting quarterback between Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa and earlier today The Morning Shift talked about how Stefanski and Rees’ offense could affect the answer to that starting quarterback question.

“Him [Kevin Stefanski] and Tommy Rees are not going to run the exact same offense that Cleveland ran. I mean it’s gonna be very much the same, but they’re going to do things differently because they have different players, so is that going to fit more of what Tua likes to do or Michael Penix?” Beau Morgan said

Beau goes on to talk about how he thinks Tagovailoa and Penix Jr. are quarterbacks with two different playing styles saying Tua is more of a quick passing and intermediate throwing quarterback while Penix wants to “air the ball out” more.

Obviously, Kevin Stefanski and Tommy Rees’ playbook will have all kind of plays in it, but, but it’ll be interesting to see if the type of offense Stefanski and Rees put together caters more to one quarterback than the other.
