The Atlanta Falcons have a number of bonfide leaders, from those who have been with the team for a while like Grady Jarrett, to those who just joined this offseason like Calais Campbell, but with both of those guys being on defense, does the offense have a leader?
While many teams, largely by default, may have their starting QB as the leader of the offense, the Falcons Desmond Ridder may not have earned that role within the offense yet, but 92.9 The Game Falcons Reporter Joe Patrick still feels there are guys who are taking that role on offense.
"He (Ridder) definitely have the natural charisma to be that leader, but he hasn't proven himself at the NFL level fully, time will tell" says Joe Patrick. "I think you look at the offensive line, that's where a lot of it is. NFL vet like Jake Matthews, Lindstrom who shows up and is the utmost professional, that's where the leadership starts from on the offense."
