After a breakout season where Drake London had 100 catches for 1,271, and nine touchdowns he has started to get some national praise as being one of the better wide receivers in the NFL. However, the eighth overall pick in 2022 told The Morning Shift after the Falcons’ first training camp practice that he’s okay with "flying under the radar".
“It’s kind of a trend right now that I keep on going underrated and just flying under the radar and I’m okay with that. I’m not really a big public guy anyway, so it’s totally fine with me, but you know I have to go out there and prove it every year and that’s my goal every year.”
Even with the lack of continuity Drake London has had throughout his career he’s only gotten better each season, and it feels like he could continue that trend, eclipse what he did last season, and continue to prove that he’s one of the best receivers in the NFL if he and Michael Penix are able to both stay on the field and have success together this season.
