The Atlanta Falcons are off to a hot start and the national media is starting to take notice. ESPN analyst, former college and NFL head coach, and 10-year NFL defensive back, Herm Edwards, joined The Morning Shift Wednesday and said the Falcons look like old Dirty Birds.
“They can run the football, that has been their calling card," Edwards said. "I don’t see them stopping doing that and you know they got good special teams, got a good kicker, defense has improved, so this team is going to be hard to deal with, especially when you go play them at home in that dome. I mean, I’m not gonna say it but they kinda looking like them Dirty Birds. I don’t know we’ll see, we’ll see how it goes, but they’re playing well.”
Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot have changed the culture of the Falcons. They are now working with the players that they have drafted and that they want in the building, the results are now showing. The Falcons are finally starting to get the respect they deserve across the NFL.
