Over the weekend, the Atlanta Falcons added to their coaching staff as they announced the hiring of Alex Van Pelt as their new quarterbacks’ coach and Tanner Engstrand as their new passing game coordinator adding them to a staff which also includes recently hired Tommy Rees as their offensive coordinator and Bill Callahan as their offensive line coach.
“It’s a good staff. You have a lot of brain power to help a young quarterback develop. I think you’re giving him more resources than he had last year,” 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell, said as he and cohost, Carl Dukes shared thoughts on the offensive staff the Falcons have assembled and the experience each of them has, which they believe will be beneficial to Penix Jr.
“This are all the guys, when Penix Jr. can do the work, I think that can help him where he needs to be,” Bell said of the Kevin Stefanski led offensive coaching staff.
